Approve the License Agreement with the City of Tampa for the Cougar Invitational Wrestling Tournament, December 1-3, 2011 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the license agreement with the City of Tampa for use of the Tampa Convention Center for the Cougar Invitational Wrestling Tournament December 2-3, 2011.  The cost of the rental of the facility will be waived. 

The Cougar Invitational attracts over 35 wrestling teams from within the state of Florida and out-of state. A large crowd of spectators is anticipated as well.  Utilization of the Tampa Convention Center will allow adequate space to safely facilitate this tournament.

• Motivate students to become responsible learners • Challenge and support all students with an appropriate curriculum • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
The license agreement fee is $12,000. This fee will be waived by the City of Tampa. The projected operational costs of $3,842 for this event will be covered by ticket sales and entry fees.
