Approve Design Development Phase for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Twin Lakes Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On October 26, 2010, the Board approved the issuance of approximately $37,935,000 of Qualified School Construction Bonds (QSCBs) for renovation of roofs and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at various District sites. The QSCBs provided for acceleration of roof and HVAC renovations previously scheduled in the five-year plan. (QSCB funded projects are indicated in the attachment.) On June 14, 2011, the Board appointed VoltAir Consulting Engineers, LLC to provide design services for a project to renovate the HVAC system at Twin Lakes Elementary School. Project completion is scheduled for August 2012. Approval of the Design Development Phase will allow the engineer to proceed with construction documents. |
