Approve the Naming of the Stadium at Spoto High School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Spoto High School faculty, staff and community members have requested that the stadium at Spoto High School be named the Clyde Trathowen Stadium.
Mr. Trathowen began his employment in 1988 as a teacher at Bloomingdale High School. He was employed as a teacher, Assistant Principal and retired as the inaugural principal of Spoto High School. Mr. Trathowen has a genuine love for students and dedicated many years to students, parents and his staff. Mr. Trathowen helped many students reach their dreams. Clyde has served as a referee for both volleyball and basketball and is known throughout the county. The dedication of the football stadium to Mr. Trathowen would be a fitting honor for Spoto High School, the staff, students, and community members. |
