Approve Summer Four-Day Work Week For All Employees | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
For summer 2012 (beginning the week of June 11 and ending August 10), and for each summer hereafter, we are recommending a four-day work week, ten-hour work day, with a districtwide shutdown on Fridays, with the following stipulations:
Substantial financial savings in areas such as Transportation, Student Nutrition, and Utilities were realized since implementation of summer four-day work weeks beginning in 2009. |
