Matching Funds Projects at Seven Schools: Buckhorn, Gibsonton, Just and Robles Elementary Schools and Chamberlain, Robinson and Sickles High Schools (Facilities Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Matching Funds Program was established in 2001-2002 by the Superintendent to assist schools and their partners in raising funds for capital school improvements by matching dollars in any amount up to $50,000. On October 26, 2009, a committee composed of elementary, middle and high school principals and the Facilities Division met to review and update the program procedures to be effective for the 2010-2011 fiscal year (revised procedures attached). District Matching Funds are requested for the following schools: Buckhorn Elementary: walking track; Chamberlain High: softball modular building; Gibsonton Elementary: data/electric poles to enhance school facility; Just Elementary: covered physical education court; Robles Elementary: replacement of digital sign from marquee; Robinson High: marquee - electronic (one large, one small); Sickles High: baseball/softball covered batting cage. |
