Approve Acceptance of Project for Renovation at Burns Middle School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On February 19, 2008, the Board appointed Rowe Architects, Inc. and Batson-Cook Company to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities provided for locker refinishing; interior painting; door hardware, toilet accessories, and other miscellaneous handicap accessibility upgrades; roof refurbishment; replacement of acoustical ceilings; replacement of worn carpet with vinyl composition tile (VCT); and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) and fire sprinkler system replacements. The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |
