Recognition of Hillsborough County Public Schools "Create A Cover" Contest Winners for the 2012 Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! (Middle School Education-Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Middle and high school intensive reading students were invited to participate in the "Create A Cover" contest sponsored by the middle and secondary reading departments, the Office of Professional Development Technology Training, Barnes and Nobles, and the Tech4Learning and Edline software companies. The contest required students to read one of the 2011/2012 Sunshine State Readers or Teen Reads books and create a book cover depicting the theme and plot of the story using Pixie software.
Barnes and Nobles, Tech4Learning, and Edline provided prizes for each award winner. |
