| Recognition of Coach Tony and Lauren Dungy for numerous contributions to Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) students and faculty (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Coach Tony and Lauren Dungy have greatly impacted HCPS students and faculty. Since March 2011, third grade students from Title I schools have had the privilege of hearing the Dungy's read their book "You Can Be A Friend". Students also received a pencil and book marker. The Dungy's provided 50 copies of their book to each of the 46 schools they visited. This contribution to our libraries increased our number of books in circulation by 2,300 copies. |
