EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The R.A.Y.S. Council is the service learning club at Randall Middle School.  Students in the council recently won the "Making An Impact" contest sponsored by "Kids Voting USA." Students received an all-expenses paid trip to the 2012 Engaging Today's Youth for Tomorrow's Civic Leadership Symposium on March 29, in Washington, DC.  The students won the contest for their Patriot's Day memorial display which involved organizing 1,350 students and faculty in a visual tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.  The display was in the shape of a flag made of individual "markers" for each and every victim.
