EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
This agenda item authorizes the purchase of additional Cisco hardware components, itemized in Attachment A, to increase the district’s network capacity and resiliency. Currently, all sites access the Internet through the Raymond O. Shelton School Administration Center (ROSSAC) building. This equipment will establish an alternate connection for district sites, providing access to the Internet through the Dr. Samuel J. Horton Instructional Services Center (ISC). The equipment will also provide a high-speed network connection between the ROSSAC data center and the ancillary data center in the ISC building to maintain availability of critical online applications. | |
