A previously approved District Five Year Plan provides for renovation of the kitchen at Riverhills Elementary School.  District staff selected Cooper Johnson Smith Architects, Inc. and R.W. Tymewell, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services.  The renovation and remodeling of the existing kitchen expands the kitchen and provides a new dry storage area; replaces selected kitchen equipment and the kitchen hood; improves the serving line configuration; provides new lighting, paint and flooring; and renovates the electrical and plumbing systems. Project completion is scheduled for August 31, 2012.

Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project.

Construction cost is warranted at $472,771.  The construction budget is $473,000.  This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
