Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between Hillsborough County Public Schools and the Center for Teacher Quality (CTQ) Establishing Two Teacherpreneur Positions for the 2012-2013 School Year
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On April 26, 2012, the School Board approved the pursuit of a relationship with CTQ to obtain funding for two teacherpreneur positions.  This MOU establishes the creation of two teacherpreneur positions.  A teacherpreneur is a teacher who will teach half time and serve as a professional development resource the other half of the day.  CTQ will provide funding for two half time teacher units. These units will be used to provide release time for the teacherpreneurs.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate consistent and effective teaching methods
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
CTQ will provide approximately $75,000 funding for two half time positions.
EVALUATION
Both CTQ and the district will evaluate the impact of the position through verbal and written surveys.
