Approve New Evaluations for School Psychologists and School Social Workers to be used Beginning in the 2012-2013 School Year | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
As part of the Empowering Effective Teachers (EET) project, district committees comprised of teachers, supervisors, CTA representatives and administrators have created new rubrics for the 2012-2013 school year. Both rubrics consist of components divided into four domains of professional practice. Rubrics are provided to evaluators so that the process will result in more consistent evaluations across the district. Presented in this item are the new evaluation rubrics for school psychologists and school social workers.
Each of the new evaluations will be comprised of written evaluations by a peer, supervisor, and principal (69%), and a student gains measure (31%). |
