Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Partnership with Hillsborough Community College (Secondary Education-Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
In partnership with Hillsborough Community College (HCC), HCPS will work closely with the HCC precollegiate liaison to enhance joint efforts in preparing students for postsecondary opportunities and ease the transition from high school to college.
The precollegiate liaison will provide assistance and support for students, district and school staff. Through this partnership students will increase their self-confidence, learn how to handle new challenges, build study skills, and discover how education fits into their future making them more likely to pursue higher education. It will assist students in bridging the gap between high school achievements and successful performance at the college level. This partnership will also improve access to HCC and their program offerings. |
