SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Revisions to the Student Progression Plan (SPP), K-Adult for 2012/2013 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the attached 2012/2013 SPP. Section 1008.25 of the  Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires each school district to establish a comprehensive program for student progression that includes standards for evaluating how well each student masters the performance standards, Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.  To ensure alignment with the 2012/2013 State Student Progression Plan, elements have been added or modified within our district to comply with Florida statutes as well as district procedural changes for elementary, middle, high school, career, technical and adult education, exceptional student education, English language learners, and guidance.  Major changes are summarized on the attachment.
