Recognition of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Glazer Family Foundation for numerous donations to Hillsborough County Public Schools
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Over the past three years, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Glazer Family Foundation have been wonderful partners with the school district.  The generosity shown to our students and teachers will have a positive impact on our students for many years to come.  Our partnership with both organizations has been reflected in the following manner:

  • Back to school supply drive
  • Over 100 students throughout the district are receiving free eye exams and glasses
  • Tickets to games given to teachers and bus drivers
  • Covered play courts at Davis, Foster, Lanier, Mort, Potter, Sulphur Springs, and Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary Schools and Carver and Lavoy Centers
  • Tours of One Buc Place to fourth grade students from Title I schools

Many of the Buccaneers team members have provided students with words of wisdom and guidance to continue their education and to be good citizens.  Our elementary principals were provided an opportunity to tour One Buc Place and to have Coach Greg Schiano speak on education and its importance to him and his style of leadership.  "The Plan," as designed by Josh Freeman, has electrified our fourth grade students throughout the district through a writing program.

• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Motivate students to become responsible learners • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
