Recognition of Tampa General Hospital for Providing Nursing Services at Robinson High School (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Tampa General Hospital's commitment to Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) began in February 1999, when they became the only hospital to provide a full-time registered nurse. Over 62,000 visits to the clinic at Robinson High School by students and staff were recorded over the span of one year. In addition, Tampa General Hospital gave millions of dollars over the years to community partners like USF and More Health, Inc. to provide health and safety training to over 2.4 million HCPS students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff. Tampa General Hospital continues to support HCPS and our community at large. | |
