Recognition of Greater Tampa Lions Sight Fund, Inc. for Providing Vouchers to Students to Receive Free Vision Services and Eye Glasses (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Greater Tampa Lions Sight Fund, Inc. provides school nurses memberships to National Association of School Nurses (NASN) so they can receive unlimited vouchers for students to receive free vision services and eye glasses. Over 278 pairs of glasses were provided to Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) students last year and we are on pace to surpass that number this year. The Lions Club has provided vision services for students enrolled in HCPS since 2004. | |
