Approve Award of Contract for Roof Replacement at Franklin Boys Preparatory Academy
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for roof replacement at Franklin Boys Preparatory Academy.  District staff selected Weber & Tinnen, PA from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.

The project was advertised and bids received (see attached bid tabulation).  Award of the contract for construction to the low bidder,  Southern Roofing Company, Inc., is recommended.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)

Total funds in the amount of $822,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay:  Local Millage.  The contract amount being awarded is $821,530.
