SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept Contract with Infor, (US) Inc. (Formerly known as Lawson) to Develop a System in the Talent Management Module for Tracking Leader Performance of Participants in Future Leader Academy, Assistant Principal Induction Program, Preparing New Principals Program, and Principal Induction Program Based on our School Leader Competencies (Division of Administration)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This contract is for professional technical services and is exempt from the bid process.  As part of the Hillsborough Principal Pipeline work, each of the districts who received funding from Wallace have been given the charge of creating a leader tracking system that can used for hiring and succession planning purposes.  Since Infor (formerly known as Lawson) is tracking teachers through Talent Management, the district is using their services to stay consistent with the Human Resources system.  The first scope of work with Infor was to begin the creation of the system starting with candidates applying for Future Leader’s Academy.

This next scope of work will allow the district to add Assistant Principal Induction, Preparing New Principals Program, and Principal Induction to our Talent Management System. The district will be able to track our school leader competencies as someone enters the Future Leader Academy Program and progresses through each level of the pipeline. Once they apply to become a principal, the district will have a portfolio of data indicating their strengths in each of the leadership competencies.  This will help with school match and making sure the right person is hired for each vacancy.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate consistent and effective teaching methods • Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $350,000 will be available from the Wallace Foundation grant.
EVALUATION
The evaluation of this project will consist of feedback from end users as to ease and usability of the system, feedback from hiring teams at the assistant principal and principal level regarding data reports produced and meaningfulness to the hiring process, and performance of assistant principals and principals placed into positions following the hiring process.
