Approve Acceptance of Project for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Northwest Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Program provided for the renovation of the HVAC system at Northwest Elementary School. On November 3, 2009, the Board appointed the engineering firm of Advanced Systems Engineering, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work provided for renovation of the HVAC system throughout the campus and included replacement of the existing cooling plant with a thermal ice storage system; new air handlers and ductwork; and a new energy management system. Air Mechanical & Service Corp. was awarded the contract for construction on May 18, 2010. |
