| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request recognition of Boys Preparatory Academy at Franklin Middle Magnet School and Girls Preparatory Academy at Ferrell Middle Magnet School. The schools together have been selected as an Apple Distinguished Program for the 2012/2013 school year. This is a national award for the exemplary learning environments and centers of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence. The administration and faculty of both schools have exhibited the five best practices of an Apple Distinguished Program:
