EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Per State Statute 274.05 and School Board Policy 7310, the Board may sell, transfer, dispose of, or donate any real or tangible property to other governmental units in the county which they deem no longer serviceable or usable in the current educational program. Bus 2843, a 1994 International 65-passenger bus, has a seized engine and would require a complete rebuild. The estimated cost of repairs far exceeds the residual value estimated in the current Yellow School Bus Book. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No) | |
The auction value of this vehicle is $1,200.00. There is, however, immeasurable savings if the training that this vehicle will provide the City of Tampa saves a life. The cost of transferring the property shall be paid by the City of Tampa. |
