| Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Dr. Bobbi Davis for the Integrating Schools and Mental Health Systems Grant (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The district has received a no-cost extension for the United States Department of Education planning grant, Integrating Schools and Mental Health Systems. Locally, this grant is known as Wellness Integration for Students of Hillsborough (WISH). A Program Specialist Consultant is needed to complete select grant goals and activities. These include: coordinating and facilitating school/community protocol subcommittees for community agency access to schools, confidentiality and information sharing, collaborative community training, and providing updated information for the WISH website and the Mental Health Toolbox before June 30, 2013.
Dr. Bobbi Davis has been selected as the Program Specialist Consultant. Dr. Davis formerly worked for the Children's Board of Hillsborough County. |

| EVALUATION | |
| This federal grant outlined select activities and goals, which the Program Specialist Consultant will fulfill. The Supervisor of School Social Work will manage these activities. The Local Planning Team, which serves as the community advisory group for this grant, will provide advice and input for the desired outcomes. These outcomes will be shared with the Assistant Superintendent for Student Services and Federal Programs for review and implementation in the school district. | |
