SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Acceptance of Project for Roof Replacement at Robinson High School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On October 26, 2010, the Board approved the issuance of approximately $37,935,000 of Qualified School Construction Bonds (QSCBs) for renovation of roofs and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at various District sites. The QSCBs provided for acceleration of roof and HVAC renovations previously scheduled in the District Facilities Five Year Work Program. The roof renovations are being executed in phases to avoid over-tasking available roofing contractors and ensure competitive pricing. (QSCB funded projects are indicated in the attachment.) The design professional has certified that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |
