A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program included funding for renovation of the HVAC system at Dowdell Middle School.  On November 18, 2008 the Board appointed RHC and Associates, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work provided for replacement of direct exchange air conditioning equipment and associated refrigerant piping, controls and electrical wiring. The Board had previously approved the purchase of major equipment for the project.  Kenyon & Partners, Inc., was awarded the contract for construction on May 19, 2009.

The design professional has certified that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

This item was included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction 08-09 and Local Millage.
