Approve Acceptance of Project for Modular Additions at 2 Sites (Leto High School, Chamberlain High School) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
District staff combined requirements for portable demolition and modular installation at Leto and Chamberlain High Schools into a single project and selected Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provided for demolition of two portables at both Leto and Chamberlain, and site work and utility connections for a new double-wide athletic modular and two air conditioned storage containers at Leto and a new athletic modular at Chamberlain. Demolition of eleven other portables at multiple sites, and site work and utility connections for a new air conditioned storage container at East Bay High School were also included in the project scope (see attachment). Relocation of two portables to the Transportation Department site at Harney Road was added to the project scope by change order to meet Transportation Department requirements. |
