| Approve the Memorandum of Understanding By and Between St. Petersburg College Board of Trustees and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida for the Tampa Bay Educational Partnership (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) values its relationship with post-secondary institutions in the Tampa Bay area. Over the past several years, the school district has worked collaboratively with St. Petersburg College (SPC). The annual memorandum of understanding (MOU) serves to further enhance and expand the collaboration through the administrative staff and the School Board of Hillsborough County.
The relationship built through this MOU will function as the link for research interests, communication of proposed projects, in establishing networks, and in facilitating contracts and grants opportunities. This coordinated approach will align strategies to provide comprehensive services that are mutually beneficial to HCPS, SPC, and to the community we both serve. The attached MOU outlines in detail the responsibilities of each party. |
