Approve Acceptance of Project for Modular Installations at Miles Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 3, 2011, the Board approved the addition to Community Investment Tax projects for replacement of obsolete and non-economically repairable portable facilities with modular buildings. District staff selected Gould Evans Associates, PL and Peter R. Brown Construction, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for a portion of the portable replacement requirements. The scope of work included in this item provided for installation of thirteen new modulars on the Miles Elementary School campus supporting replacement of the existing Hospital Homebound facility at Miles; relocation of the Area III offices from existing portables at Freedom High School; and provision of new facilities for the Virtual Learning program. |
