| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Space for the CARIBE adult education program has been located at McDill Columbus Plaza, 2700 North MacDill Avenue in Tampa since 2001 and the renewal for the 2013/2014 term is attached for approval. The classroom space consists of 4,200 square feet with an annual rent of $72,569.77 ($6,047.48 per month) and includes all utilities and custodial services. The facility is used for approximately 500 adult learners enrolled through CARIBE for instruction in the English language for recent refugees and political asylees. The location has proved to be ideal for recruiting and retaining the targeted refugee population. |
