Approve Award of Contract for Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Cooling Plant Replacement at Durant High School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for replacement of the HVAC cooling plant at Durant High School. District staff selected MES Group, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for replacement of the existing cooling plant with a new plant incorporating a thermal ice storage system. The project also includes replacement of the energy management system serving the campus. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Total funds in the amount of $1,700,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $1,691,000. |
