Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Food Service Facility Renovations at Leto High School

Student Nutrition Services' assessment of kitchen facilities established the Leto High School facility as a high priority for renovation. Rowe Architects, Inc.  and RW Tymewell, Inc. were selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services to renovate the kitchen and dining area at the school.  The scope of work combines the two existing dining rooms into a single room and provides for renovation of the existing mechanical and lighting systems; installation of a new District standard serving line with eight points of sale; and renovation of the existing kitchen. Project completion is scheduled for August 9, 2013.

Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project.

Total construction cost is warranted at $1,238,502.  The construction budget is $1,238,600.  This item is included in Student Nutrition funds and District Capital Outlay:  Local Millage.
