Approve Policy Revisions as Advertised in May 2013
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On April 23, 2013, the School Board approved the proper advertisement of policy revisions to policy # 5722 - School-Sponsored Publications and Productions and policy # 9700 - Relations with Special Interest Groups.  Advertising of these policies, as required by law, was published in the Florida Sentinel Bulletin, La Gaceta, Tampa Bay Times,  and The Tampa Tribune and were available for comment.  After completion of the advertisement period set forth by state statute, the Superintendent recommends approval to adopt these policies.

• Demonstrate best financial practices • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
There is no financial impact to the district other than the cost of advertising as required by law.
