Approve Change Order No. 2 for Renovation and Remodeling at Bloomingdale High School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Program provides for the renovation of Bloomingdale High School. On October 20, 2009, the Board appointed Holmes Hepner and Associates Architects to provide design services. On July 27, 2010, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Allstate Construction, Inc. The renovation of existing facilities includes new fencing; interior and exterior painting; drainage remediation; bleacher repairs; electrical upgrades; safety upgrades including the addition of two new stairs; servery remodeling and kitchen upgrades; replacement of doors and hardware, ceilings, and interior lighting; replacement of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; partial replacement of athletic lighting, flooring and low-voltage systems; and remodeling as required for improved handicapped accessibility. |
