Approve Award of Contract for Cooling Tower Replacement at Wharton High School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for replacement of the cooling tower at Wharton High School. The scope of work includes removal of the existing cooling tower and installation of a new, stainless steel cooling tower. The project was advertised and bids received (see attached bid tabulation). Award of the contract for construction to the low bidder, Bentzel Mechanical, Inc., is recommended. |

Total funds in the amount of $312,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $311,600. | |
