Discuss the Board Attorney Search Committee’s Recommendation to Readvertise the Position of School Board Attorney and Determine the Appropriate Advertising Media Corrected Attachment (RFQ pages 1 and 2)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Board Attorney Search Committee met on June 18, 2013, and:
  • A consensus was reached to readvertise the RFQ for School Board Attorney Services.
  • A draft advertisement was reviewed and revisions requested.
  • Advertising options and costs were discussed.
  • Requests for revisions in the RFQ were conveyed.
  • A suggestion to include all Board members in the search process was expressed.
  • A decision was made to add this item to the previously scheduled Board meeting of June 25, 2013.

Thomas Gonzalez has reviewed the attached proposed advertisement, revised RFQ, and rejection notice and has provided an opinion regarding contract renewals.
