Across the elementary, middle, and secondary levels we are deleting a Principal on Special Assignment for Instructional Materials and adding a Supervisor for Instructional Technology K-12.  This position will be responsible for the acquisition, implementation, and integration of current and future technology in classrooms across the district.  Additionally, we are revising the job description and title of the current General Directors of Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Education to General Instructional Leadership Directors which is aligned with the new Area Leadership Directors and reflects a more focused and intentional curriculum leadership role.

At the middle school level, we are adding a Supervisor/Generalist for Middle School Education.  This position mirrors the current generalist positions at the elementary and secondary level and will be responsible for providing direct assistance to middle school principals, assistant principals, subject area leaders, and counselors to ensure alignment of curriculum and assessment, interdisciplinary coordination, and integration of curriculum.  Additionally, we are deleting a Clerk IV position at the elementary level.  Through attrition, the duties and responsibilities of this position have been shifted to other personnel.
