| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| We request approval of Amendment 2 of the Subcontract and SOW #9 with Pearson, which extends timelines and defines activities related to the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS), and End-of-Course (EOC) Exam. Amendment 2 of the Subcontract extends the original subcontract effective October 20, 2009, from August 28, 2013, through August 31, 2015, between Pearson and the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida. The following activities are described for the 2013 winter assessments and the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 administrations of the statewide assessments in SOW #9:
