Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Mark Jenkins D/B/A Hammerhead Steel Drums for the Ed-Venture After-School Program at Just and Potter Elementary Schools (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hammerhead Steel Drums will provide one-hour percussion lessons three times per week to a total of 50 students at Just and Potter Elementary. Students will receive instruction on drum line, steel drums, and barred instruments. | |
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
The financial impact will be $9,000 Title I Part A and $9,000 School Improvement 1003(G) Grant. | |
EVALUATION | |
Students will demonstrate their learning through their performances at various events, including the annual combined Ed-Venture End-of-Year-Celebration. | |
