EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 7, 2013, 22 magnet schools received Merit School Awards in two categories at the Magnet Schools of America 31st National Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Magnet Schools of America awards Magnet Schools of Excellence and Magnet Schools of Distinction based on "commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/diversity efforts, and the consistent delivery of quality services to all school stakeholders." Hillsborough County Public Schools have been recognized more than 120 times by the Magnet Schools of America organization.
