EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Office of Supplier Diversity has launched an initiative over the past three years to work with school site administrators and booster clubs on the acquisition of site-based goods and services. Principals, Assistant Principals, Bookkeepers and Secretaries have been trained in how to access the OSD database of vendors. Training materials are attached. In FY2014 the OSD will finalize a grassroots marketing campaign to grow access to opportunities for OSD registered vendors and achieve greater reinvestment of tax dollars with Tampa Bay small businesses, per district policy, as well as fundraiser proceeds by student clubs and school-based activities. School Board Recognition Meetings and progress reports included in the OSD Annual Report will be used as forums for recognition of principals participating in the program. |
