Adoption of Proclamation - National School Counseling Week, February 3-7, 2014 (Guidance Services-Instructional Support Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Florida Department of Education declares the week of February 3-7, 2014, "National School Counseling Week". During the month of February, local principals and school district personnel will recognize the positive work of these staff members, which strengthens student learning and family/community involvement. This School Board recognition acknowledges the important role that school counselors and college and career counselors play in the academic and social-emotional development of students in our school district.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
