Approve Disciplinary Action - Instructional Support
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Per recommendation of the Superintendent, the employees listed below are recommended for the following disciplinary action, effective November 6, 2013.  The employees are entitled to due process, which affords them the opportunity to request a grievance hearing after the final School Board action:

  • Arthur L. Godwin, Bus Driver – Transportation:  Suspend Without Pay for One Day.  Dropped off a kindergarten student from Symmes Elementary School at bus stop without a parent or guardian present.
  • Maria A. Miller, Bus Driver – Transportation:  Suspend Without Pay for One Day.  Dropped off a kindergarten student from Shaw Elementary School at bus stop without a parent or guardian present.
  • Rosa M. Morgan, Bus Driver – Transportation:  Suspend Without Pay for One Day.  Dropped off a kindergarten student from Kimbell Elementary School at bus stop without a parent or guardian present.
  • Keith D. Watts, Bus Driver – Transportation:  Suspend Without Pay.  Arrested and charged with Driving Under The Influence With Property Damage Over 0.15, a misdemeanor charge.
