Approve Acceptance of Project for Renovation at Gaither High School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Program provided for the renovation of Gaither High School. On October 20, 2009, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Schenkel & Shultz Incorporated to provide design services. On July 27, 2010, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Batson-Cook Company. The renovation of existing facilities included the addition of a new fire sprinkler system; replacement of the roof on areas not recently renovated; new ceilings and wall finishes; replacement of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system with a new energy efficient system; group toilet room renovations; and miscellaneous plumbing, life safety, egress, and handicap accessibility modifications. |
