| Approve Schematic Design for Lamb Elementary School | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Lamb Elementary School will be built within the Magnolia Park Subdivision on property owned by the School Board adjacent to Progress Village Middle Magnet School to support recent and future growth impacting Ippolito and Frost Elementary Schools. The school is being designed to achieve Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification, and will open in August 2015 for the 2015-2016 school year.
On July 30, 2013, the Board appointed Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects, Inc. and Batson-Cook Company to provide design and construction management services. Approval of the schematic design as illustrated in the attachment will allow the design professional to proceed with design development. |
