The U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) awarded $11,568,525 to HCPS for the district’s MSAP grant project.  The purpose of the program is to support magnet schools that are part of an approved desegregation plan.  Of this total amount, $75,000 is for project services rendered by the FEF for the no cost extension, 4^th year of the grant.  FEF is providing training in culturally competent classroom and school site leadership to assist administrators in gaining the specialized skills necessary to be effective leaders and instructors at diverse schools.  A description of the leadership training is found in “Attachment A - Scope of Work” of the attached subagreement.
