Per recommendation of the Superintendent, the employees listed below are recommended for the following disciplinary action, effective January 22, 2014.  The employees are entitled to due process, which affords them the opportunity to request a grievance hearing after the final School Board action:

• Luz I. Mejia, Control Clerk - Early Childhood Programs:  Suspend without Pay.  Arrested and charged with Smuggle Contraband Into Prison, a felony charge.
• Vishal Ramphal, A/C Refrigeration Mechanic - A/C-Energy Management, Suspend without Pay.  Arrested and charged with Driving Under The Influence With Property Damage over 0.15, a misdemeanor charge.
• Wayne E. Chattin, Bus Driver:  Suspend without Pay for Three Days. Inappropriate behavior.
