Approve Acceptance of Project for Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Cooling Plant Replacement at Durant High School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of the HVAC Cooling Plant at Durant High School.  District staff selected MES Group, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.  The project scope provided for the replacement of the existing cooling plant with a new plant incorporating a thermal ice storage system.  The project also included replacement of the energy management system serving the campus.  On May 21, 2013, the Board awarded the contract for construction to Bentzel Mechanical, Inc. 

The design professional has certified that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

This project was included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
