| Approve the Transportation Consultant Services Agreement and the Statement of Work for School Bus Consultants, Inc. – Request for Proposal (RFP) #13104-DST Transportation Consultant (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On August 27, 2013, the School Board requested that the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Transportation Department, issue an RFP for transportation consultant services. On January 21, 2014, the School Board accepted the selection of School Bus Consultants, Inc. (SBC) and on January 28, 2014, the School Board provided input as to which services SBC shall provide. Therefore, SBC shall provide an overall program evaluation (fleet and operations), an assessment of the yellow fleet regarding the purchase of buses for 2014, and construct guidelines for a comprehensive fleet replacement plan.
This contract will cost $38,500, in accordance with the provided statement of work. The costs are allocated, in whole or in part, to deliverables defined in the response to the RFP and detailed in the statement of work. Each solution will have a cost that is a combination of the solution line item cost and expenses incurred as part of the required assessment/analysis of the current state of the Transportation Department. The School Board shall be provided all SBC findings, when available, upon completion of services. |
