| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Florida Statute 288.047 established the Quick Response Training Program in 1993 as an incentive for businesses to locate or expand in Florida and create new high-wage jobs. Florida's Quick Response Training grant is a three-party partnership among Workforce Florida, Inc./dba CareerSource Florida, the company, and the designated local education agency, which serves as a fiscal agent.
Quick Response Training grant applications are submitted to obtain grant funds to provide for start-up and upgrade training for employees of relocating or expanding businesses. Approval for accepting these grant funds through June 2016 allows completion of the current grant year and provides alignment with grant cycles going forward. |
